Getting Ready for Mother's Day!

Shhh...don't tell our moms, but we have been working so hard on our gifts for the most important mom in our lives.  We are so happy with how they turned out.  This is part of our gift.  We decided to do "My Mom Rocks!"  We placed rocks around our feet, took a picture, used the Color Splash app to turn them black and white, and then recolored the heart with a touch of a finger.  So so cute!

Post Its For Writing

I am always looking for ways to make our job easier and more efficient.  So I used a post-it template and got to work.  I was always writing things on post-its and sticking them on the children's papers.  I decided to make it easier.   First I picked out the writing goals that I use most often.  Then I added some cuteness and came up with these.  I bought a stack of different colored post-its and used a different color for each of my goals.  I think they came out cute and they save so much time! 

I used a 3x3 post-it.  My goals are:  

I will start every sentence with a capital letter.

I will use end punctuation.

I will put spaces between words.

I will read over my writing.

I will use the word wall.

I will try to write all the sounds in my words.
