Read It Write It Make It Smartboard Style

So I have been working on this new idea for a while and finally finished it late last night.  I took all my read it, write, it, make it worksheets and turned them into interactive smartboard lessons.   I copied and pasted the documents into the notebook software using the camera tool.  Then I inserted text and turned it red if it was a sight word or key word.  I left the other words in the sentences blue.  I created end punctuation and made it into infinite clones.  I layered the pages so the actual page was on the bottom and all the other text was on top.  I framed it and saved it so it is ready to use.  Each time I use it I will choose not to save the changes and it will automatically revert back to my original document.  So glad it is all organized and ready to go.  I love doing my lessons and directions first on the smartboard before I let them try it on their own.

Mrs. Sweeney Gets Ready for Kindergarten!

So I captured the book cover and typed my name over Miss Bindergarten's to show the students how much work it is to get ready for their arrival.  I think they will like it.

Classroom 2013-14

I keep thinking that I am done and then I do more...it is a sickness. LOL

I saw the chair idea on pinterest from http://shenanigansinsecond.blogspot.com/ and just modified it to make it work in my classroom color scheme.  I used tulle and a hole punch after I printed them on my printer and laminated them.  I put a piece of duct tape on the back before I punched the hole for strength.

Pinterest Perfect!

Well, I finished my classroom!  School begins in 13 days, so now I can start getting ready for the new reading series.  Ugh!  Oh well, please take a look at how pretty it turned out.  I am so proud, and let's face it, we spend a great deal of time in our classrooms, so it needs to look nice.

Look at my earlier blog post to see the "Before" pictures.  I hope my students like it as much as I do.  If you like me, please follow me.
