Sight Word Sentence Practice Kindergarten Style!

I created these sentences to help my class practice using capital letters, end punctuation, spacing, and sight words.  I started with our 100 word list from kindergarten.  Then I created a sentence that uses those words.  I left the words for the week in outline mode so the children can highlight the letters that make that particular word.  I added some pictures for the unfamiliar words, and tada...this is what I ended up with.  Each week we make the sentence on the smartboard, then I hand them the paper and a sentence strip.  They highlight, cut, glue, and then read it to me before the stamp it and take it home to practice for the week.  It is a great way to combine and practice many skills at once. If you are interested, click on one of the images below - there are 36 sentences, 100 sight words in all. It is such a great way to see if they are learning these important skills.
