I Looked Through My Window...

Here's a great idea to spark your little illustrators and writers.  Read this book called "I Looked Through My Window" by Michaela Morgan.

Then give each child a sheet to draw an object or scene. Visit my TpT site to pick up the templates for $1.00. 

 Next give them the window page.  They color it and write or fill in this page.

Next, display the window page on top of the illustration page in a class book or on a bulleting board.  The plastic of the sleeve makes it look like you are really looking through glass.  My students love this writing activity.
